San Diego Padres

The San Diego Padres were Katana's first sports facility client.  They made a transition from their previous work order and preventative maintenance software program at the beginning of the 2010 baseball season.

The Padres management team shares their experiences with the Katana Team and Asgard:

The transition from our company's old program to Asgard was easy and straight-forward.  We have been thrilled with the responsiveness of the Katana Team in regards to customizing the system to meet our needs.  We went into this relationship knowing that they were expanding into a new industry, but they made the transition from the hospitality industry to baseball facility management rather easily...or at least it appeared that way to us.

Our new system is fantastic, it is night-and-day compared to what we used in the past.  I feel like the Katana Team has brought us into the current generation of facility management.  The system is very user-friendly and we found that our users have adapted easily to the features and functionality of the system.  The Katana system provides numerous elements that allow us to generate reports and track information that we were never able to do previously.

As we went through the implementation, any concern or issue that surfaced, the Katana Team always found a quick resolution and thoroughly explained their technical problem solving approach.  We have received step-by-step solutions for any support related matters, and they have been thorough and comprehensive for all priorities throughout the implementation.  We would recommend any company looking for a work order management system to strongly consider Asgard.
